ChapterWelcome to the official home of the Rice University chapter of the American Association of University Professors.
Who We Are
We are the graduate students, postdocs, and faculty of all ranks — including non-tenure-track and contingent faculty — who teach and do research at Rice University. Together we are the Rice University chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP), a national union and membership association advancing academic freedom, shared governance, and the economic security of the profession. (Learn more about the national AAUP and Texas AAUP-AFT.)
